What Pet Owners are Saying

  • 5.0 rating

We brought our beloved best friend, Tank, to the Animal Wellness Center for the first time. He had been experiencing serious health issues, and although we had never been to this clinic before, the staff treated Tank, and us, with an extraordinary level of compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness.

I've been taking my dogs here since 2005. I've never had a problem with any kind of service. The veterinarians are great. The techs, assistants, and reception staff are the BEST! I feel welcomed, and most importantly, the care and love they show my dogs are sincere.

Built to Meet a Growing Need

For many pet owners in Fond du Lac, getting the care their pets needed meant traveling out of town or piecing together care across multiple clinics.

We’ve grown our Fond du Lac team to change that: expanding services, increasing availability, and making comprehensive care easier to access in one place.

Our team brings a shared commitment to education, prevention, and real relationships, so you understand your options and feel confident in your pet’s care.

A Team Invested in the Community

What do you enjoy most about working with pets and their families?

Meeting new people and developing relationships with them and their pets.

Special areas of interest?

I really like cats (spunky cats need a friend too). Dentals are very interesting, you can see the help you are doing.

Your approach to anxious pets or first-time owners?

Go slow, explain everything, be reassuring. It’s not a race, there is no judgement.

Pets of your own?

My oldest pet is a ball python, I’ve had him for over 10 years and he really is a glorified pet rock, but he is super super sweet. Next up is Demo, he is a brown tabby that I found outside when he was about 6 weeks old. He is so incredibly intelligent and judgmental. He loves car rides, walks in the stroller, and driving me nuts as he figures out things no cat should (rip my kitchen cabinets and the front door.) Finally there is Grimm, he’s a medium hair black cat that is so so cuddly and sweet. You can find him being carried around the house like a baby or cuddled up next to me or Demo. When he’s not cuddling he’s running through the house like a mini stampede with no brakes. He is pure joy and humor in a little (big) body.

Outside of work?

I bake, a lot. I love it, and feeding my coworkers the new things I make. I like doing crafty things and puzzles, but mostly I spend a ton of time with my friends and family.

Outside of work?

Outside of work, I love to do crafts! I make custom shirts, custom cups, crochet, etc. I also love going hunting! Ducks, deer, turkey… providing food for my family!

Anything else you’d like clients to know?

I have a bachelor’s degree in animal science!

What do you enjoy most about working with pets and their families?

I enjoy hearing and seeing how much people’s pets mean to them. Getting to know both the animals and the people and helping to educate them on what is best for their fur babies.

Special areas of interest?

I really enjoy the client education aspect of this job.

Pets of your own?

I have 3 ferrets currently. We are not able to have dogs due to my daughter having allergies, so we decided on ferrets and we love them! We got the 2 older ones, Buddy and Jasiri from someone that was unable to care for them almost 2 years ago. Jasiri was a very nervous and untrusting girl when we brought her home, but with a lot of patience and love she is now the sweetest and people oriented of our bunch! Buddy is a very calm and patient boy. Panda about a year ago. He was only 5 months old when we got him from a local pet store. He is always full of energy and seems to never stop, but is such a joy to watch as he bounces around and plays with his toys. Fun fact: a group of ferrets is called a business!!

One thing you wish every pet owner knew?

Do some research about type of pet and breed before adding to your pet family because they will be with you for their whole life!

Anything else you’d like clients to know?

I will have been a tech for 18 years in June of 2026, and still love what I do!
